Good Things From Today

It has been one shocking, hell of a day for me.  I heard one of the worst things I can imagine.  So here are the things that were good about today to balance things out a bit.

1. Church sermon about hope, of which I am hanging on to even after some really disgusting news.
2. Sophie is so funny and I love her so much.  She said she hopes all the trees get more "leafs" because they are a bit scary.
3. Tamales from Tamale Kitchen.
4. Flynn's cute smile and new love for gardening.
5. Playing Apples to Apples during family game night.
6. Winning a card in that game for putting Denzel Washington as "Spicy."
7. Even though it is not good, it is funny.  Our kids and their cousins played "dirt head".  Flynn must have been the winner for he had the most dirt on his head.  LOL.
8. Red Vines.
9. Thankful I live in CO and not near the East Coast or I may have taken a road trip to beat some ass today and probably been arrested.
10. Sophie just told me that her kitty told her I was a nice mommy.
11. My house smells like Cherry Coke.
12. I get to go to sleep now and have a better day tomorrow.
13. Aiden saying "Obnoxious?  Females are obnoxious!"  LMAO. A quote of his while playing Apples to Apples.
